When Autumn was 8 weeks old and we were still in the NICU at Children's Medical Center in Dallas they had some professional photographers come in to take picture for their 2008 catalog of a day in the life at Children's..all taken on November 19th which was 5 days after her trach surgery. Well, today we received 2 copies of the catalog and on page 27 there was a picture of Autumn. She was so small and her pacifier looks so huge and her little arm is reaching over her head. Here's what it said:

Autumn Williams, 8 weeks old, wakes up from a cat nap. Lacy Williams' baby was diagnosed before birth with spina bifida, and she traveled from Midland, Texas, to deliver Autumn in Dallas. Autumn has been at Children's since she was 2 hours old and had undergone multiple surgeries. William says she hopes the two will be home for Christmas.
I was so excited to see they actually picked her to put in the catalog. Autumn's first publication.
